KiddyKeys Classes

Ages 3 - 5, Preschool or Kindergarten KiddyKeys classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00-9:30am. Tuition: $135 per 10-week semester KiddyKeys Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Saturdays. Our KiddyKeys instructors all hold degrees in music, early childhood, and/or a closely related field. Our instructors are accomplished musicians and educators. Our KiddyKeys instructors have a passion for working with young students and bring kind, patient, and fun personalities to their classes.

What will my child learn in this class?

Rhythm and movement exercises that develop fine and gross motor skills Notes and note values Counting exercises to develop number recognition and math skills Memory skill built through repeated music terminology Familiarity with the music staff and piano keyboard Creative development through sound composition and exploration Verbal skills through group interaction Improved hand-eye coordination through hands-on experience with rhythm instruments and the keyboard Reinforced listening skills through discerning high and low, as well as loud and soft sounds The music alphabet, colors, and shapes with worksheet activities Composers, music terminology, and character development through story time Weekly life lessons incorporating positive emotional and social skills to build self-worth

KiddyKeys is a fresh and innovative approach to teaching piano and music exploration to young children. This engaging and energetic program teaches the piano through improvisation and enables all types of young learners to easily learn music concepts. It's a great way to prepare children for school or future piano lessons. Our primary goal is to lay a solid foundation for your child's education.
